6 GUN SOUND was founded in 2011 by Mike Abbs and Ed Foxxe.  Mike and Ed placed ads in local studios and online bulletin boards and soon recruited Joe on Bass guitar and backing vocals.  Rehearsals began and so did the search for a front man who could step in and emulate the style and articulations of one of the best rock vocalists of past and present, Paul Rodgers.   After auditioning many people, the search finally concluded in late 2015 when Bill Hipple came in for an audition.  Bill was an immediate perfect fit.  6 Gun Sound’s goal for the foreseeable future is to share and celebrate the music and songs of the great Paul Rodgers and all his bands.  Please see our info page for booking info and more.
